Protecting National Historic Sites

There is a new round of the Protecting National Historic Sites program open to applications.

This grant opportunity is a key component of heritage protection and its objectives are to maintain, protect and conserve places on Australia’s National Heritage List that are recognised for their historic heritage values.

It is restricted to the “target places” listed in the grant opportunity guidelines.

There is up to $4.135 million available for the 2017-18 grant opportunity.

The grant amount will be up to 80 per cent of eligible project costs, with a minimum grant amount of $25,000 and maximum of $250,000.

Eligible applications must score highly against the merit criteria to be recommended for funding.
