Flash Marketing Round closes 8 December. More grant streams open 10 January 2022.

The Cultural Tourism Accelerator Program is a $5 million targeted measure announced by the Australian Government as part of the Regional Arts Tourism package, which will enable arts organisations to promote and develop cultural events for tourists across regional Australia. The program will increase tourism visitation in regional, rural and remote communities across Australia by providing financial support for arts and cultural activity.
The Cultural Tourism Accelerator Program aims to:
- Support place-based programs to increase visitation
- Build consumer confidence and activate engagement
- Drive engagement across communities and between regions
- Support sector-led responses.
In Tasmania the grant program is being administered by RANT Arts.
All the information is on its website but to save some time looking, currently the Flash Marketing Campaign Round is open and closes: 7 December 2021 for grants of $2,500. It is a competitive quick response grant for upcoming projects to extend digital and/or grassroots marketing into a new visitor market.
Next year, three more grant streams will be opening on 10 January: Targeted Marketing; Experience Initiative; Partnership Initiative. For more information you can access the guidelines here.
All projects funded by this CTA Program need to be completed and acquitted by 31 October 2022.
