CALL FOR LOCAL LEADERS TO DRIVE TASMANIA’S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Community volunteers are being sought to join the Regional Development Australia (RDA) Tasmania Committee to fill general Committee positions.RDA is a national network of committees made up of local people volunteering their time and energy to develop local solutions to local issues.

Leaders with the skills, experience and knowledge to build networks within the business community, industry, education and all levels of government are required to facilitate wide consultation and develop local solutions for regional economic development.   They will identify infrastructure projects which contribute to long term economic growth of the region and have been identified as priorities.

This is a great opportunity for people within the community who care about Tasmania to step forward and commit to making big decisions about our future.

RDA Tasmania’s priorities for our State are can be found on our homepage

Expressions of Interest are being sought from community minded individuals to volunteer and make a difference to our region. This will include the strong leaders and committed individuals who want to see positive economic change in the community.

Interested community members who have a vision for Tasmania are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest to represent the community and to be an advocate for the region.

EOI's are encouraged by 31 July 2016.
