Building Better Regions Fund Round 4 Announced

Two Tasmanian projects were successful in Round 4 of the Building Better Regions Fund that was focused on drought affected communities.

Break O'Day Council was awarded $30,000 towards their Recreational Trails Strategy.  This $60,000 project will develop a strategic plan to determine the current and future needs, and the economic opportunities around recreational trails in the Break O'Day Council regional area.

Launceston City Council was awarded $10 million towards the Launceston Creative Precinct.  This $81 million project will build a Creative Precinct on neighbouring sites in the centre of Launceston.
