Biochar is produced by burning organic matter in an oxygen-limited environment. Biochar is used as a soil amendment, and its variable characteristics lend themselves to a myriad of different end uses.
The Forum will present the science behind biochar and importantly the opportunities for it provides for Tasmanians. It features international and national biochar experts from a range of industries.
