Building Better Regions Fund Round 5
RDA Tasmania will host a online Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) Round 5 webinar on 17th December at 9:50 am.
Local Government, community groups and non-profit organisations are encouraged to attend
The Australian government has announced $200M ($100M for tourism related infrastructure projects) as Round 5 of the Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) to support the creation of jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future. The funding aims to encourage more Australians to travel and experience a home-grown holiday, boosting regional jobs and local economies.
BBRF Round 5 will be delivered like the previous four rounds, with Infrastructure Project and Community Investment streams. Grant Opportunity Guidelines will be made available shortly, consistent with the existing BBRF framework, to assist potential applicants.
There are two streams of funding available under the program: The Infrastructure Projects Stream and the Community Investments Stream.
The opening date for applications is yet to be announced.
The BBRF information portal can be accessed at www.business.gov.au/bbrf. Previous Guidelines and other supporting material are also available here.
At this webinar, the RDA Tasmania will share with you important information and handy tips on how to get your application ready, including:
- Grant guidelines and information
- Key principles of a successful economic development project
- Case study on sound project planning
- Data and evidence – where to go to get good supporting information
Although the webinar will focus on BBRF round 5, the webinar would be beneficial for any organisation considering applying for funding.
