RACT Insurance COVID-19 Community Support Fund

Keeping our communities strong and connected is important to us all. The Insurance COVID-19 Community Support Fund has been created to help community groups survive this challenging time, and make sure we all have things to look forward to.

The $100,000 Community Support Fund will provide up to $5000 per application by individual groups or projects, to make sure fixed costs and operational challenges are covered during the period affected by the pandemic.

Criteria for grant submissions

  • A community group whose normal operational cash flow has been disrupted by COVID-19.

  • A group who needs to cover ongoing fixed costs despite revenue-generation activities being restricted by COVID-19.

  • Projects which build resilience and support a group's ability to rebound post COVID-19.

  • Projects which support less advantaged groups or communities in Tasmania if possible.

  • Information about where the project is located and whether it's in more rural or remote areas of Tasmania.

  • Information about whether the group has received any support from other sources, including government grants or support.

     

Eligible Groups

  • Community clubs & associations.

  • Not-for-profit organisations.

  • Registered charities.

Applications will open Tuesday 14 April and close 28 April 2020.
