Mentorship Program

Rural Business Tasmania is seeking support in the promotion of the Mentorship Program, supported by the Tasmanian Government, through the FoRS group, to extend and reach out to the widest range of mentors and mentees as possible.

Mentorship Program

The purpose of the program has been designed to pass on the skill sets and experiences of our current industry leaders to the next generation of future leaders of the Agricultural sector.

RBT (Rural Business Tasmania) are hoping to reach people who may be a suitable mentor or those who have valuable skills that can be passed on to those just starting out their journey in the Agricultural sector. The desirable mentors would have a strong business background or specific agricultural skill set. There is a keen interest in finding mentors in Horticulture & Dairy to ensure there are a wide range of skill sets to be showcased within the RBT mentoring group.

RBT are interested in seeking mentors throughout Tasmania and expressions of interests are welcome from any area to ensure that the opportunity for this program is truly state-wide.

Mentees should be those who are just starting out in the agricultural space, students currently studying agriculture or those who want to increase their skills by learning from a current agricultural leader.
