Cyber Criminals are targeting Tasmanian Businesses - prepare and protect yourself now!
Almost one in ten Tasmanians fell victim to hacking, scams and other cyber-attack attempts in the 2021 financial year, and directly lost over $4.5million to cyber criminals, plus many times more from loss of business, interruption, lost customer credibility, and recovery costs.
The average loss to individual businesses from successful email-related attacks alone, increased to more than $50,000 per business – more than one-and-a-half times higher than the previous financial year.
Australian cyber-crime reports have increased nearly 13 per cent, which equates to one report of a cyber-attack every 8 minutes compared to one every 10 minutes last financial year.

The plan will identify the major risk factors for your specific business, with practical recommendations and information on minimising those risks.
