Devonport to host 2022 SEGRA conference – call for local presenters

Invitation for local presentations – closes 14 May

The Cradle Coast Authority will host the national Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia (SEGRA) conference at the paranaple convention centre in Devonport, from 31 August to 2 September 2022.
The National SEGRA Steering Committee are seeking presentations of varying styles, including case study examples, emerging research, project or program analysis and learnings, as well as practical examples that will help regional Australia. In-person and virtual presentation options available.
Presentations should align with the theme of the conference: Regional Activity, Transition and Sustainability. The conference will cover topics such as adapting to change, connectivity, building a regional workforce and attracting investment to enhance the liveability of rural communities. More information is available here and presentation submissions can be made online, closing 14 May 2022.
This year’s conference is hosted by Business Events Tasmania, Cradle Coast Authority, Devonport City Council and the SEGRA National Steering Committee. The annual conference is an opportunity to work collaboratively to highlight challenges, opportunities, growth, and future plans for rural, regional and remote Australia.
