1,000 New UTAS Scholarships

Successful applicants may receive $15,000 per year for up to four years
The Destination Australia Program is part of the federal government's ‘Planning for Australia’s Future Population' strategy which has developed the program to attract and support students to study in regional Australia, to grow and develop regional Australian tertiary providers and offer students a quality learning experience.
Eligibility
Available to Domestic (Tasmanian, interstate and New Zealander) students who are commencing a full-time bachelor degree or associate degree for the first time at the University of Tasmania in February 2021 in either Hobart, Launceston or Cradle Coast. Selection will be based on academic merit and financial need. Preference will be given to students who must move away from home in order to attend the University.
